Toys are very important in our lives. Even some adult people have something childish in their souls and need toys. Usually a toy is considered to be something, some object for a child to play with, typically a model or miniature replica of something: a toy car, a toy plane, and a toy phone. A toy can be an object regarded as providing amusement for an adult person. And these are mostly gadgets or machines. For instance, an expensive vehicle is sometimes thought of as a rich man’s toy. But in our article we are going to dwell upon toys for kids and about a store that provides such an amusement – Toys R Us.
Toys R Us chain. Toys R Us is a privately owned company. The company was founded in 1948. The company is headquartered in Wayne, New Jersey. The slogan of the company states: “Time for childhood.” Toys R Us is a chain of toy stores that are located in the United States, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, South Africa, Hong Kong, India and in the United Kingdom. At the present time the company operates more than six hundreds toy stores in the United States and the same number of stores in other countries.
Toys R Us products. The company was founded by Charles Lazarus when there was a people started to believe in life and childhood again after the war. The company was founded as a children furniture retailer. But then the founder started to receive many requests for toys. And then the baby toy era began. Toys R Us stores are very popular and the company is mentioned in many movies and TV shows. Though the company is still very popular, at the present time it is experiencing financial difficulties. The number of the customers do not decrease but some unsuccessful marketing plans can ruin such a wonderful empire of children’s happiness.
