Vartec
In the telecommunications industry there are not so many companies that have control over the main markets. And they compete with each other as well. The whole world knows the names of these companies and they can be pretty satisfied about the consumer awareness of their brands because sometimes their products just do not need the advertising – everybody already knows about them and somebody even is eager to buy them. In the telecommunications industry these companies are Sprint Nextel, AT&T, and Vartec Telecom.
Vartec Telecom is a wholly owned subsidiary of Excel Telecommunications. Vartec specializes in providing long distance, wireless, data as well as other communication technology services. Vartec Telecom provides a wide range of telecommunication services, which include conferencing, voice services, teleblock, Internet, voice broadcast, VoIP, co-location services, switchless resale, IP and data services. All the provided services are based on global network. Vartec serves residential and commercial customers in such industries as education, retail, real estate, healthcare, government, travel, manufacturing, finance, and many others.
It is hard to find a reliable and prestigious telecommunication company. They do advertise themselves as the best in the industry but, in fact, it turns out that the services they offer are of extremely low quality, let alone the customer service. One of the few problems with Vartec Telecom is their customer service. In 2007,
Vartec Corporation was the leading company with the worst customer service. Over 50% of the customers have a negative view on the company because of the customer service. And that is why many people decided to terminate service with Vartec Telecom. All the complaints are based on the facts that Vartec made the customer pay more than they have really been talking. Vartec tried to improve the relationships with the customers but there are no obvious results still. The connection quality is not improved, the employees do not treat the customers any better. There is no difference in the situation. Is there anything we (the customers) can do to improve the situation?
