Friend Of The Court
At the present time, there are so many cases which are still on the waiting list in the courts. The misbehaviors and crimes have become so common, that the courts do not me=anage to resolve then timely.
Friend of the Court. The
Friend of the Court Bureau (FOCB) provides circuit courts across the state with management assistance in operating local friend of the court (FOC) offices, including development of local policies and procedures. At the present time, the company is headquartered in Lansing, MI. The primary functions of the Friend of the Court are to facilitate development of local policies and procedures, to establish and implement child support policy and guidelines, to develop and publish information pamphlets for public use, to collect and analyze data regarding friend of the court operations, to provide training, to work with the Office of Child Support in the Department of Human Services. Primary services of Friend of the Court include: management assistance, training and orientation materials for new friend of the court administrators, and publication of annual report of friend of the court operations.
The problems within the company. Friend of the Court is a company which was founded to help the courts to solve the problems of people. When applying to the court, people may have very-very different problems, complicated situations and urgent issues. It is within the obligations of the company to help everyone in time. However, the clients complain that the friend of the court is slow in processing all the cases transferred to them. Some people overpay thousands of dollars of alimony for several months only because they can not get to the executives of the Friend of the court. What is worse is that later on it is impossible to get the overpaid amount back. Others claim that it is impossible at all to get at least a dollar of alimony compensation. The divorced mothers are unable to give their children the decent financial support, while their fathers do not pay alimony? Where is the justice? Where is the decent level of customer service? Social institution fails to help. Who can then help? Is our society going to fall apart because of the mess in legal institutions? Who is responsible for all this?
